Enterprise Land appoints student accommodation expert Graham Bloomfield as a special advisor

Enterprise Land, a UK and European real estate investment company founded by real estate investment management veteran Andrew Thornton, has appointed student accommodation expert, Graham Bloomfield, as a special adviser to lead the investment analysis and financial underwriting function.
A qualified accountant and an expert in financial modelling, Graham is the founding director of UK-based, ProFin Advisory, which provides project finance advisory services.
He has extensive financial experience in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation sector, having advised a significant number of private sector clients and universities each year since 2003. This experience ranges from advising the largest UK student accommodation provider, Unite Students, through to top-ranking universities, such as University College London and Durham.
Prior to establishing ProFin Advisory, Graham was Investment Director at Arlington Advisors, a leading student accommodation provider and investment manager. He joined Arlington from DWPF, now Evolution Infrastructure, a market-leading financial advisory, modelling, model assurance and training provider to the infrastructure and project finance sector.
Graham Bloomfield, special advisor to Enterprise Land, said:
“Student Accommodation has always been my passion and it is a pleasure to work with a company that sees the potential of the sector across Europe. Its entrepreneurial DNA and institutional rigour are a rare combination that is well-suited to this dynamic asset class.”
Andrew Thornton, founder and chief executive of Enterprise Land, said:
“We created Enterprise Land with a clear ambition to be a leader in operational real estate. Such assets present opportunities not available in traditional asset classes, but also bring complexity. Graham’s skills allow us to underwrite such complexity, manage risk and drive performance – all key attributes of successful investment”.
